THIS course will be special.
It will offer beginners best opportunity to learn pure science and concepts of transforaminal endoscopy. Posterior midline has NO symptom generator, ligamentum flavum causes symptoms only when it is covering bone. Most symptom generators are in and around foramen. About 80% patients in opd need non op care, and a very precise diagnosis.

December 2025 course: TFE
Basic: 13 noon to 16 noon, includes talks, cadaver needle techniques, opd, diagnostics, MRI analysis, one live procedure demo.
Advanced New: All who are attending Dervan first time 13 noon to 21 noon. basic, books, detailed planning for TFE, plus live surgery demos, revision cadaver surgery on 20 21.
Advanced plus: 16 noon to 21 noon. Supervised hands-on surgery for our alumni only. Restricted to 8 delegates.
14 December course starts at 8 am. please reach by lunch time on 13th. The basic course will be over on 16th noon post lunch. Suggested Donation amount is INR 25,000. 3N4D
Advanced plus is from 16 noon to 21 noon; you may reach by lunch time of 16th Tuesday. Number of delegates restricted to 8. As this will have supervised hands-on surgery, only for our past attendees of Dervan course. Suggested donation amount is INR 75000. 5N6D

Why should i learn endoscopy?? What is an endoscope? The endoscope is a tool to achieve our purpose of relief of symptoms in a progressively degenerating lumbar spine that has changes in close proximity of neuro vascular system giving us the symptom generators. System of surgery under local anesthesia and stitch less should be learnt due to its solid philosophy that has changed spine surgery for ever. This includes precision diagnosis of symptom generators across 3 zones and on 3 walls, better image symptom pathology correlation, ability to devise and execute a near non morbid access thru fourth zone and foramen and that is increasingly effective at target by use of added modalities like RF and Laser. It utilizes access thru natural orifice that is IV foramen under local anesthesia making it possible even to help a patient with gross medical co morbidity like cardiac, diabetes, obesity. It also has a very scientific base for chemical radiculitis, chemical discitis and related inflammatory causes treatable by non op care.

2 Course is NOT for non-surgeons or anesthetists or pain management colleagues.
3 This course does not cover UBE or PSLD or any other posterior midline open or endoscope assisted interlaminar spine surgery. IT is about pure endoscopy, upper and lower transforaminal system.
4 Course is residential and includes stay, IN TWIN SHARE AC/ Non-AC ROOMS all meals, teaching, hands on training, reading material, books that form basic syllabus.
5 Pick up drop from Chiplun TRAIN station covered. Travel from Mumbai to Chiplun on Kokan railway [video page on travel] by vista dome train highly recommended. It is one of the most picturesque journeys. In group you can also hire a cab from MUMBAI or GOA airport to Walawalkar hospital Dervan, Chiplun, MS.
Dates 14-21 December 2025. Arrive a day prior on Saturday 13 December. Beginners leave on 15 th by evening. Rest Leave by SUNADAY 21 lunch time or later. DO NOT LEAVE early or day prior etc. you would be the loser. DO NOT PLAN TRAVEL UNLESS WE APPROVE your application. Do plan fast and early as December is heavy rush on Kokan railways.
